It’s almost Book Week! One of my favourite times of the year in the library. I have just finished creating my Book Week display for this year’s theme “Dreaming with Eyes Open,” and I hope the students will love it. This year’s theme is a bit of a tricky one to create a display for, there are so many options. So I chose to match the theme with a book about a dream, and “The Wizard of Oz” was the winner. Yay! It’s almost Book Week! One of my favourite times of the year in the library. This week I finished my Book Week display for this year’s theme “Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds,” and I can’t wait for the students to see it after the holidays. Here is a list of picture books to commemorate ANZAC Day and the commitment of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers and their families in the wars following.
